“Our success demonstrates the hunger people have,” says Flatley, “to wholly submerge themselves into a world where dancers interpret every nuance of classic good versus evil through modern Celtic music.” The 10th Anniversary Tour reflects Lord of the Dance’s ability to connect with the audience and initiate and captivate a new generation. Adding to the visceral and emotional impact are costumes, lighting and staging that are cinematic in scope. “Make no mistake,” adds Flatley, alluding to the 10th Anniversary Tour, “’Lord of the Dance’ begins where modern theatre ends.”
Flatley, who originated the role of the Lord, is the company’s Artistic Director, a position he has held since the troupe’s stunning 1996 debut in Dublin. Ten years later, his influence continues to resonate throughout every aspect of the production. Irish dance lovers and music fans alike will get a chance to experience the engaging, rhythmic adventure that has helped catapult Celtic dance mania and Irish dancing into the global spotlight. The Bachelor is an American reality TV show. It is all about dating and made its debut in 2002 on ABC. It has been renewed till the fall of 2007. The show aired on Mondays has been hosted all along by Chris Harrison.
The theme of the Bachelor is a bachelor’s quest for the perfect date and the winner is that date. He is courted by 25 women in the beginning. The show continues with this bachelor going on dates with these women, both one-on-one and group dates. In each episode one woman is eliminated. Usually, at the end of the show during the ‘rose ceremony’ and the ‘elimination dates’. Towards the end of the season few of the remaining women go on overnight dates and ultimately they meet the families of both the bachelor and the women.
The Bachelor is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and has Mike Fleiss and Lisa Levenson as the executive producers. The latest season (season 11) has went on air from September 24, 2007 and features Brad Womack, a bar owner from Texas as the bachelor.
